The men were ready to start the beatdown promptly, as it was a mere 25F outside this morning. So YHC got right to work.  Wimpie, as usual, did his best to disrupt the workout with his mubblechtter. YHC was unphased, like a true professional.(aka I had to channel my inner Abu)

The WarmUp

  • 20 SSH
  • 10 Forward Arm Circles
  • 10 Reverse Arm Circles
  • 10 Over Head Claps
  • 10 Seal Claps
  • 20 Merkins

The Main Event

3 rounds of 10 reps of the deadlifts, bent over rows(Breezy Rows), single-leg RDLs rows(left and right)

Ladder (4, 8, 12, 16, 12, 8, 4) of each of the following

  • Kettlebell swing
  • goblet squat to overhead press
  • cleans
  • snatches

The Fun

We play a little game of catch-me-if-you-can.  Partner 1 carried two kettlebells around the track in a farmer’s carry, while partner 2 did 5 merkins and then run to catch up with partner1. Partners 1 and 2 switched and repeated until a complete lap around the track was completed.
