YHC saw a request from Backhoe last week in search of two Qs for  #Buildup. Cousin IT took one quick and YHC snagged the other one. I think it’s always important when a brother is looking for help to fill up Qs for his AO to lend a hand. Plus it’s been awhile since YHC Q’d over at BLP so knew it would be a good time putting together a weinke and providing the PAX with a quality beatdown. YHC had a 0440 solo ruck and Gazelle and Underdog got there after 0500 for an EC Run. Got back to the flag at 5:30 to see we were going to have a total of 16 PAX enjoy this beatdown. The Thang

Moseyed over to the rock pile. YHC instructed the PAX to choose their rock wisely – some chose to listen to YHC while others did not. We circled up but instead of going through the typical circle of exercises, YHC instructed that we would go for a little mosey with our chosen rocks around BLP with a stop at each intersection with the following exercises;

–          Stop 1: 20 curls for the girls (led by Spinal Tap)

–          Stop 2: 20 curls for the girls and 30 tricep extensions (led by Cold Cut)

–          Stop 3: 20 curls for the girls, 30 tricep extensions and 40 bench press (with rock) (led by San Fran)

–          Stop 4: 20 curls for the girls, 30 tricep extensions, 40 bench press (with rock) and 50 goblet squats (led by Underdog)

After each intersection, PAX would switch rocks to ensure everyone had a heavy rock at least once.

Mosey back to the rock pile to lose the rocks (those PAX who did not originally listen to YHC was glad to lose their rock). Moseyed to the circle for a little “circle de bear crawl” Pax would bear crawl around the circle, stopping at each tree on the outside of the circle. At each tree, PAX would perform 5 merkins. I mean, it wouldn’t be a Stabler Q without a little bear crawl!!!

Pax would rinse and repeat but this time lunge between trees and at each tree, perform 10 squats

Moseyed over to the gymnasium wall. PAX would perform People’s Chair with a 5 count from each PAX. Next, BTTW with a 3 count from each PAX. Last but not least, chicken peckers led by YHC — 10 count (2 is 1)

Back to flag two minutes early so Spinal Tap led the PAX in flutter kicks until fail (then merkins) or until 6:15 hit

Great push by the PAX today and great mumblechatter throughout. Back to back workouts at BLP with 16 PAX… great numbers and as the weather continues to improve, hooping to see these types of numbers at each AO. Time to beat the fartsack and push yourself each at every day! YHC also challenges each PAX to get out of your comfort zone a bit and explore different AOs. It’s a great feeling when you get to experience different workouts and workout with different PAX. Thanks to Backhoe for allowing me with the opportunity to Q! Until next time…
