Jinxy & Derby of FiA teamed up with Gaylord and Flo of F3 to co-Q the first ever convergence on the beautiful Washington Waterfront. We were lucky to have 6 ladies and 1 guy from FiA & F3 of Greenville join us after their own workout along with four FNG’s.

Flo welcomed everyone and shared that we’d be following the “Good Morning” burpee rule: anytime someone in the PAX got a passerby to say “Good Morning!” we all had to do a burpee.

Warm Up:
Flo led the Pax in 10 good mornings IC, followed by Jinxy leading us in 15 side straddle hops IC.
Gaylord called out 10 hallelujahs, and Derby one-up’d with Jack Webbs starting with one merkin and 4 hallelujahs all the way up to 10 push up and 40 hallelujahs.

The Thang:
After a mosey to Turnage Ally, Flo led the Pax lined up in a wall sit where we sang “Row, Row, Row your Boat” in unison until we got through all 30 Pax.

Derby had the Pax then partner up and have one Pax run the ally (to the street and back) while the other did a wall sit with hallelujahs, followed by a rinse & repeat.

Gaylord led the Pax on a run around the block and down to the end of Stewart Parkway by the boathouse, where Flo led us in 10 burpees. Jinxy followed that with calling out 15 burpee push-ups (box jump on 1/4 wall, burpee/pushup on wall).

Gaylord led the Pax out on the floating dock where we did 20 flutter kicks over the water. Derby followed that with 25 lemon squeezers over the water. Lots of groaning (especially from the guys) at this point.

Flo led the Pax in DIMS (derkins, irkins, merkins and squats) at every other light pole to the People’s Pier.

Jinxy followed that with BLIMPS (burpee, lunges, imperial walker, merkin, pop-squat) at each light pole.

The Pax ended the workout with with Circle burpees – one for each Pax.

Finally, we did name-o-rama, named our four FNGs and prayed.
