It was great to converge and celebrate American independence with F3ENC and Fido from F3Chowanoke this morning.

We started at 0600 with an EC trek around town and got into the beat-down at promptly 0700.

We had plenty of coupons (sandbags, keg, punching bag and litter with other heavy stuff) so everyone was able to grab one and from there we rucked to the parking garage with the coupons.  In the garage we rucked to the second level with coupons and neatly placed them there.

We then bear crawled with rucks up the incline and side crawled the flat distance to the next level.  Rinse and repeat to the top.

At the top we did a round of ruck exercises: hand release merkins, v-ups, ruck swings, curls, CPR without the R (curls to an overhead press), Burpee Merkins, people’s chair and flutter kicks.

On the way back down we gathered our coupons and moseyed on over to the new culvert. We carried our coupons to the bottom of the ravine and performed merkins on the coupon.  This gave us extra strength to get the coupons back up the hill.

As usual the EC and workout were filled with mumblechatter which is another reason rucking is better than running.
