What a beautiful morning….and not just because I was there. We started out with a normal warm up consisting of side straddle hops, arm circles, good mornings and various leg stretches. From there we moseyed to the circle benches where we did partner dips and derkins, splitting 100 each. We moseyed next to the stairs and split running the stairs with a partner sharing 100 WWIIs, 200 LBCs and 300 American hammers. Next, we moseyed with the speed of an arthritic sloth to the exercise playground at Elmhurst and did a one minute exercise of our choosing. We then ran the 1/4 mile loop there stopping four times to do 25 in cadence slow squats.

Next we moseyed to the other circle benches and did 20 in cadence hallelujahs and 20 overhead claps, rinse and repeat. We then moved back to the original circle for a three minute round of Mary and we finished with a one minute Spiritual Opossum. During the one minute Spiritual Opossum the Pax were instructed to think of one person they could help today or one act of kindness they could engage in today to make a difference.

We finished with prayers for various Pax, family members and our nation’s first responders.
