New AO, RuckOn! – Awesome morning as we continue to expand our reach with 24 Pax in attendance, including 1 Kotter (welcome back Lebowski) and 2 FNGs (welcome Frisco and Naked Gun). Brisk morning but great weather for a ruck. Much info was put out last few days about this launch, hoping to scratch the itch many Pax have been looking for. One hour ruck with fellowship flowing!

YHC arrived at 05:00 and saw Frisco there waiting to see what this is all about. Up rolled a few more Pax, some EC guys came rolling in then at 05:10 we had a huge influx of Pax holding onto that fartsack as long as they could.

Before we began we have a few experienced Pax hand out extra rucks to newer Pax looking to borrow; no better way to extend an inviting hand than giving a stranger a used heavy sack to start the day.

Directions given as we continued to gather and we took off at 05:15 …

YHC talked to Abu Saturday for a while about this new AO launching. We both agreed that this was something that could benefit many Pax but YHC was somewhat hesitant at first about the quickness of the decision. After putting out some feelers and messages, many Pax quickly responded and we had 24 show up. Just goes to show how quick this group is to react to something awesome. Great 1st and 2nd F was fulfilled. Many Pax walked away with a brighter look on their faces from conversations they were able to have for an hour and be able to create/rekindle friendships they may have missed out on lately by posting at other AO’s.

F3 is a great place for Pax to improve their physical abilities but I think we sometimes miss out on the fact that this isn’t just a physical group, many Pax can gain just as much, if not more, from the fellowship we don’t realize we miss out on in our daily lives. So many of us run the rat race daily; get the kids up, get to work, sit in front of a computer, answer emails, go home, eat, sleep, repeat. In the mornings is where we get a chance to connect with brothers who live the same lives or something totally different, but this creates a single bond.

So if you posted today, see you next Wednesday, if you missed today, come walk with us next week …
