Hot Spot’s birthday run for Black Ops

Black Ops Poetry

Hot Spot called out for a birthday run.

Crascom at 5:00 was the time for fun.

Many showed for the early start.

We gained miles before 5:30 which showed lots of heart.

Although we usually follow Matlock’s route,

Spalding stepped up to lead us about.

We went through areas all around,

And mumblechatter was strong and the most audible sound.

We ended with a birthday song for the birthday boy,

Which made us all laugh like a child with a Christmas toy.

But it was Matlock’s magnet who saved the day.

For Arkansas dropped his keys in a place far out of the way
