Q called circle up, gave the mission statement, welcomed all, the disclaimer was given and it was go time.

Warm Up:

Pledge to the Flag of our Country, 12 SSH’s, 10 Good Mornings, 10 Arm Circles forward and 10 backwards and 10 Good Evenings.  We then completed one burpee for our FNG who was just a minute or two late.

The Thang:

We started off things with a game of catch me if you can.  While 1 PAX did imperial walkers towards the statue the rest completed 10 squats and gave chase.  I must say that Koolaid and Cheetah seemed to have an unfair advantage at this game or the rest of us weren’t quite into the game yet!  Once we got to the statue the PAX lined up on the surrounding benches for the first round of 7’s.  We were to do erkins on one side, step over and perform dips on the other.  Al Gore for the six.

Next the PAX followed the Q to the tunnel of love for a little BTW’s and Peoples Chair.  BTW’s were to be performed while each brother had an opportunity to count to 5 and a 10 count for the Chair.  Koolaid and Spinal Tap were obviously warned to not get too crazy with the count!

After the tunnel it was off to the short hill beside the tennis courts for another round of 7’s.  At the bottom we were to complete WW1’s and reverse lunges at the top.  We Bear Crawled up the hill and moseyed down.  Plank for the six.

When the 7’s were complete the PAX followed the Q to the big hill by the Minges driveway.  Everyone partnered up and we did 100 Hand Release Merkins, 200 LBC’s and 300 Squats.  While one put in the work the other moseyed down the long hill and back up.  I can’t speak for everyone, but this is about the time my Fenix Watch was starting to worry about my heart rate.  Those who finished early went the extra squats to help their brothers finish up.

Everyone was finished on the hill and we were off to the sidewalk headed towards the flag.  At the first section of the walkway Show Boat was asked to call an exercise and lead us In Cadence.  We headed half way down the sidewalk and Cheetah was then given the chance to call one.  I completely forgot what he called this exercise, but it was basically 3 pushups in one.  I have a lot of respect for many of my brothers who handled it in stride and the rest of you made me feel better because you were on the struggle bus with me.  Once done we were off to the flag to circle up for MARY where Spinal Tap and Koolaid were given the opportunity to finish things off.  6:15 and this Q was done!

I appreciate the opportunity to Q First Aid today.  It was a honor to lead so many HIM’s at one workout and having that kind of support makes all the difference when your anxieties are trying to take over because of the crowd!
