Warm Up

1 mile

A series of Hip Opener Stabilizer exercises

The Thang

7 300s

You want to run all 7 in the same time. Push yourself on the first one and whatever you get, try to keep that pace for the others.

On the first 300, user error on YHC’s part with the stopwatch, so it was a just the tip to see how it feels.

On the last one (8th) we tried to beat our best time.

Cool Down

1 lap backwards

Run until 6:15

Prayer Requests: The Closed Hand’s father-in-law, 4 leaf’s upcoming surgery

Announcements: Fruity Pebbles has the Q at #TheCommons, Punch Out has the Q for Q Source.

Moleskin: 300s are much tougher than they sound, particularly once you run for a time to ramp up the intensity. By 200 yards, the lactic acid builds and your body’s governor tries to slow you down. You need to train yourself to fight through it. By the end everyone was smoked but glad they did it, even Gazelle (or at least I hope). We are stronger together as none of us would have done that workout solo.
