One week before Blue Ridge Relay, the premier running event for F3ENC, and we have a bunch of guys training for it. So, YHC knew that most of the PAX who showed up this morning would be tapering. The key to a good taper, in my opinion, is to listen to your body and don’t do anything that will get you hurt right before the race. Therefore, while explaining what the plan was for the workout, YHC made it clear that the PAX could do whatever they felt like doing, but that he would be following the plan below. YHC’s presentation may not have been authoritarian enough for some, manly those PAX who like telling the Q what they think the workout should be, but YHC felt pretty good about the, do whatever feels good, hippy dippy approach. All that being said, if you posted and didn’t like the workout you only have yourself to blame. If you enjoyed it, pat yourself on the back, you done good my man!

I almost forgot to mention the one mile PR set by Ricky Bobby! My man is now running well below a 7 minute mile, clocking in at 6:42. Well done!
