After some discussion earlier in the week, it was decided that Footloose would take the week off from Qing the Oval Office, and that we would take the show on the road, so to speak, to get off of the track.  Footloose voluntold me to take over for him this Friday.

In keeping with the speedy tradition of the #OvalOffice, YHC decided to map out a progression run for the PAX.  Easy run pace to Point A, Moderate/Temp pace to Point B, then race pace back to the flag.  The route took us up Arlington to Greenville Blvd, then left to Point A…Greenville Blvd. & Charles Blvd. corner.  From there, we picked up the pace to 14th, left to Evans/14th (Point B).  After Point B, it was a fast/uncomfortable pace back to the flag.  However, we had a little bit of time left, so we re-routed back up Arlington to GVille Blvd and back to the flag.

Good run and a good change of pace (literally).  In hindsight, the construction on Arlington and poorly-lit sidewalks made it difficult and maybe not as safe as it could have been.  Footloose took a tumble, dinging his leg up and falling on his shoulder.  Prayers for a quick recovery.

COT–prayers for Gazelle’s family as his grandfather nears the end of his journey, prayers for all battling cancer, prayers for struggling PAX and that they continue to get right, prayers for the over-enrollment situation at Grammar’s school and for good decision making during that ordeal.
