The DRP for Breakfast!!!

Eight PAX gathered around the breakfast table at Lovick’s Cafe to begin our weekly journey through the Q-Source material. Our goal is to read the material each week in advance so we can maximize our time for discussion, finishing within an hour so each man can go about his day. We have room to add a few more, but limited to 12 in this space due to Covid pandemic safety considerations.

These men came ready to get serious. We began by creating a covenant:

1. We will all speak respectfully and listen empathetically.
2. We will all be real – no false self-representations or “putting on our Sunday-go-to-meetings.”
3. Everything we discuss will be held in confidence. We can tell others what we’re learning and/or how meaningful this is to us, but we won’t repeat personal stories, thoughts, fears, etc. that our brothers share.

Everyone agreed and we moved forward with discussing Q1.1, “The DRP,” while we enjoyed a nice, hot breakfast.

Our discussion Q next week will be Truth Hurts, discussing Q1.2 The King, and we plan to pre-order our meals so we can enjoy fewer interruptions.
