Pledge of Allegiance to begin at AKP, AKA home of #rushready. My old stomping grounds. The Skyn had invited me on the special calendar way back……….Let’s get to it. So, I was ambitious, thinking numbers would be Yuge (only reason I brought 21 TIRES, from my good friends at Greenville Auto World)

We stretched a bit, left, right, center, hump position. Each grabbed a tire, in addition to our rucks and hoofed it up the trail to the edge of property and right before crossing the road, squatted, SALAD style, 25 times. Hoofed it across the road and headed toward the Wintergreen Elementary school parking lot. Tires in TOW. Used the length of the lot. At each end would complete 25: Irkins, Squats, Dirkins, Lunges. Rinse and repeat 4 times. (Irkin and Dirkin on our tire).

Same parking lot. New exercises. Old jokes. 25 arm exercises, curls, overheads. Quick shuffle around the lot with our tire. Beer Garden (Bless his little heart) kept mumbling something about, this was being boot camp instead of ruck ready. We think he was just a young Pirelli, instead of having a Goodyear or Firestone thrown or rolled at him.

Padre had the magical position of hallelujahs. He became tireless in the efforts; yet continued his cadence in wonderful tone. Lynard did get away with rolling his tire almost as fast as Grizzly (Klondike) could run. Patch shouldered his load like a ‘true Clydesdale’ ! 2- Stop, although ‘plugged’ must’ve taught his baby brother how to count.

Hey, let’s take our rucks off; use the tire for some WWI’s and Haavaad’s passion for Fluttr (NOT) V-Ups.

The man counts ‘fast’ and pushed through. There were no blow-outs as we returned to AKP. Lynard had to ‘burn-out’. Dropped our tires. Headed with ruck about 50 yards. Two Burpees, just for the ‘tread of it’. Return, garnish our tires.

Head to back side of building. For some, People’s Tire. Then Balls to the Wall, Hands on the Tire for a 7 count each. Back to the front.

Stretched a few. 6:15.

YHC prayed us out: BGarden has friends thinking of splitting up. Patch’s M+2.0 4 peace. Unspoken. Not being ashamed of sharing pain. What shield-lock could look like with crossing barriers, finding someone not similar to us for consideration. Our Leaders. Our military. Our First responders.

Where wuz ya’ll?………….Hope thou posted somewhere. ( Blow this up with t-clappage)
