Excited to be back in the gloom with the HIM of F3ENC! PAX of 12 posted at #runstrong for a stroll through the gloom.

Underdog gave the necessary social distancing disclaimer and the PAX agreed to comply.

The Thang:

PAX left the parking lot and picked up the greenway behind the ESP grandstands. Followed the greenway to 5th Street where the hares turned back for the tortoises. PAX continued on the greenway across 5th Street and found it to be lighter than expected as the sun began to rise. Once again the hares turned back for the tortoises at the Dog Park. PAX left the greenway and headed south on Warren Street, right on 3rd St and left on Landmark. By this time Mother Nature was playing a cruel joke on YHC as I began to experience bubble gut, as Cable called it, and there was nowhere to drop the kids off at the pool. So, YHC anxiously continued to follow the PAX to Elm Street and back to the shovel flag. After taking the count and conducting a socially distanced COT and prayer, PAX departed from the gloom better than when they arrived.

Prayers:

Past Due – under the weather and in the bed since Friday.

Grout’s 2.0 (Levi) – still no indication as to the cause of him all of the sudden not being able to walk. Considering a trip to Duke for an appointment with a specialist. Also, Grout’s M is expecting and delivery is anticipated at any time.

Cable – upcoming retirement from the military and beginning the next chapter of his life. Changing homes and is looking for a job to begin after retirement. Any PAX that can help please reach out.

Announcements: None

Moleskin:

Thankful to Past Due for asking me to Q at #runstrong again. I was scheduled a few weeks ago but the AO’s suspended I was not able to Q. I was looking forward to being out in the gloom again with my F3 brothers. Spending a lot of time at home without the camaraderie has been challenging. Hopeful that we will be able to continue to meet as brothers in the gloom. Being in the gloom does a lot for your bodies, but more importantly, for your mind. There is power when men come together in fellowship. #HIM #ISI

God bless you all and your families!

The End
