The Thang

We came to do one thing this morning… Conquer!  That is exactly what we did.  The PAX showed up.  The Q gave an astoundingly detailed and soft hearted disclaimer and then they were off to warm up their legs.  To the Stadium and then back down to college hills they strolled as they noticed a blue finish line and a blue start line.  The instructions were simple; King of the Mountain.  6 reps to find your fastest time to the top.  We are here to lift one of our F3 Brethren to take the College Hill segment on Strava.  Whether they intended to take first or last, they left it all out there on the hill today.  PRs rained from the Skys.  For the 1st place prize, only one man could emerge as the KOM.  Our very own SB (String Bean to most, Sandbagger only to his close friends) took the segment at 59s and Abu was close behind at 1:03.  A few men claimed that they were close behind at 1:03 and 1:09 but they were Strava Effed.  If it’s not on Strava, it didn’t happen.

Setting Goals, whether it be in PT, our marriages, school, work, our faith, or any other area we want to succeed is important.  Today, we set a goal to take down the record. Individually, we pushed ourselves and as a PAX we pushed each other to be stronger faster men.
