YHC was at a recent listing appointment with a seller that collects dice.

Large dice.

Small dice.

Plastic dice.

Wooden dice.

Lots Of Dice.

This kind gentleman offered YHC a large pair of wooden dice.

They were Given Away.

This was just too good to be true.

Paradise. Given Away.

Poetic.

Immediate first thought.

These are going to be fun to try at F3.

YHC has a goal to bring Paradise City to each AO in ENC.

Elm Street Park was first on the list.

That would not be fun to have to carry big wooden dice while running.

It would be easier to make someone else do it.

That is exactly what happened.

The plan was in place.

There would be six stops.

Shovel Flag.

Top of College Hill.

Behind St. James on the Greenway.

Greensprings Park Shelter.

5th and Elm.

Shovel Flag.

PAX would be chosen to roll the dice and the Q would be in charge of making the Math rules.

Slim Jim rolled against The Closed Hand with the inaugural roll of the dice.

Hand took the win and led us in 18 four-count merkins while Paradise City boomed on the forearm boom box!

This ain’t just a running AO, boys!!!!

We head to College Hill.

While approaching the top, Brass Monkey by the Beastie Boys was blaring.

It was only natural to get Brass Monkey, that funky Monkey to be the next roller of the dice.

Diamond Merkins and Jump Squats were on the menu.

The next stop behind St James found The Red Hot Chili Peppers bringing the heat with Give It Away.

Novocaine and Punch-Out rolled dem bones and led us in Wide Arm Merkins and Reg-u-Lar Squats.

On the way to the Green Springs Park shelter, the bridge was quite slippery because it was wet and somehow, magically, Living on a Prayer starts blaring on the speaker. Epic.

Underdog and Duff were the next to take the roll.

If they rolled a 1-7, we were all doomed with 10 burpees.

If they rolled an 8-12, we were safe.

Lady Luck was on their (our) side as the 8 appeared.

Then they led us in Derkins and Dips.

Next- we would head to 5th and Elm.

YHC did not realize that it was already 0609 at this time! And that 5th and Elm was not as close as YHC had remembered.

We had to skip 5th and Elm on the way back to the flag, but no one complained.

We even got to listen to Blackened by Metallica and had a great discussion about constipation with No Ideer!

A great morning was had by all.

YHC led the BOM and took an epic Paradise City Run Strong photo.

Be on the lookout for the next Paradise City session.

YHC has lots of ideas to bring the pain!

Until next time- Give it Away!
