Exciting day at Fairfield Park in Kinston as 13 runners logged miles bright and early before the rain. We were joined by a few relatively new guys today (Sprint/Sprinter?, Alb? and Fin). It was neat to hear Sprint say how much he enjoyed coming just over the last week. It was a spark for someone like myself who has been coming since August.
Tha Thing
-Started out at Fairfield Park home of #splashinwoodies and ran to the Kinston Country Club. We did the first 9 holes on the cart path with the option of picking up to / near race pace on holes #1, #3, #5, #7 and #9.
Prayers / Praises – # of runners, Shank and his family, Flathead and his daughter, families of the fires in Kinston and North Lenoir. Gopher mentioned posting on slack information to assist the families.
