7 PAX met for an EC Ruck at 0440 and logged around 2.7 miles. Back to the flag a little before 0530 where five more PAX were ready to roll, including the one and only Chimichanga. After a lot of pressure from YHC, Chimi made his first post of 2021– welcome back brother! No FNGs so quick disclaimer given and we were off…

The Thang

YHC instructed the PAX to mosey to the far end of the Stadium parking lot (scoreboard side). PAX would mosey to each median/hill in the parking lot (5 in total). They would perform 10 erkins on the front of the hill and then 5 burpees on the other side of the hill. Total count was 50 erkins and 25 burpees.

Moseyed to the Meadows for a new thriller that I called the Bearmuda Triangle. Given that a triangle has three sides, there would be 3 rounds. Starting near the center of the Meadows, PAX would perform 10 burpees and then bearcrawl to one end of the Meadows and then bearcrawl directly across and then back to the starting point, forming a triangle. At each point, PAX performed a series of exercises;

  • Round 1: 10 burpees, 20 merkins, 20 diamond merkins
  • Round 2: 10 burpees, 20 SSH, 20 Squats
  • Round 3: 10 burpees, 20 Freddy Mercurys, 20 LBCs

After the PAX found their way out of the Bearmuda Triangle, we made our way to the Pirate statue where we would partner up for a round of Dora. Partner A would do the exercises while Partner B would run up the stairs at Mount Murphy and perform 10 squats. Partners would flapjack until all exercises were completed;

  • 100 merkins
  • 200 LBCs
  • 300 squats

Moseyed over to the Tunnel of Love. Lined up and got into People’s Chair and each PAX gave a 10 count. BTTW with a 5 count from each PAX. Tap did his typical counting, YHC gave him a warming and he continued so punishment was to crabwalk back to the flag (roughly 50 yards). To his credit, Tap did his best crab for about half of it then pulled a modification. Back to the flag at 0615 for COT.
