A few weeks ago, Jackpot and YHC coordinated Qs at each other’s AO. Today was the first in that exchange, so YHC and Shortstop headed north from Kinston in the drizzle to The Collard Patch. Luckily, we weren’t stopped as we were on the road (in separate vehicles) at 4:55am.

It was truly an honor to Q at an AO outside of Lenoir County; thank you Jackpot for the opportunity! About 5:55, YHC noticed a vehicle pull in and park besides ours and joked that a PAX was late and burpees were coming. YHC thought it was strange that the person just sat in the car and thought they must be waiting for someone. As we finished the picture and walked back to our vehicles, a lady got and approached asking for help. Part of her deck had collapsed over the weekend and her landlord is not responding to her calls to get it fixed. Immediately, PAX were getting her contact information and talking about how ENC could come together to fix it for her, and praying with her…more to come, keep an eye on Slack. How awesome that she knew a group of men met out there on Monday mornings and she knew she could come to this group for help; this is a great example of the impact F3 has on the community.
