YHC had to bail on Pothole twice over the past few weeks due to scheduling conflicts, so YHC wanted to make sure we all got it in on this beautiful Monday morning. This was the Monday right after the BRR, so YHC knew to take it light on the legs if any BRR participants showed.  Oh course, Cousin IT was the only one (what a beast). And it went something like this:

Warm Up:

  • SSH – 15 – IC
  • Good Mornings – 15 – IC
  • Michael Phelps – 15 – IC
  • Slow lap around the truck to get the blood pumping

Tha Thang

First we stopped at the picnic shelter for an extension of the warm up: 11’s with irkins and step ups

Once completed, we moseyed over to the rock pile and each grabbed a rock. YHC pulled out the deck of cards for another round of the deck workout.

  • Spades = Overhead press
  • Diamonds = Squats
  • Clubs = Curls
  • Hearts = American Hammers

Face cards equaled 12 reps of the given exercise. Aces were wildcards, which consisted of running to the end of the road and back, or 10 burpees OYO

We almost got through the deck when 0613 rolled around, so we returned our rocks and went back to the flag
