Golden Arches Run

Thanks Made Me Late for the opportunity to q!  Yhc put it on slack that the route was going to be one that we visit Samoa’s national monument, and the route was planned.  When you visit Samoa, the first thing you see while the plane is landing is the Golden Arches of Mcd’s!  Disclaimer given, String gave the starting gong hit, and off we went!

Route – Left on Pitt St., right on 5th (yhc instructed to turn on 3rd, but the leading pax ran down to 5th, may have had something to do with someone getting shot the morning before on 3rd?, yhc encouraged the pax to run “together.”), left on Hwy 11, left on 10th, run down to the Golden arches on 10th, return to the flag the way we came.  Return for the 6 at every turn.

Moleskin – Yhc hasn’t run in 2 weeks, but it was a great push by the pax who encouraged one another, and pushed each other to get better today.  In the events that followed this day (Kobe and others lost in an accident), yhc spent the rest of the day just enjoying life with the family!  Brothers, hug those you love everyday, and ask God for the spirit of reconciliation with those we are separated from!  God is so good, even when things seem darkest, those are the moments He is nearest!
