The Commons is normally a battle of the Runners and Ruckers, however this Sunday it was a Celebration. One year ago, Monty Python posted at a run because Shake-n-Bake told him a little white lie to get him to post. That stud moved to CLT recently for his Mammon and is posting decent times on Strava according to Ricky Bobby but when he comes back to the flatlands of ENC, he is super fast. 22 studs rucked and ran today. Here’s what they did.

Runners: Ran to Charles Blvd, then left on Greenville Blvd. Left on 10th, right on 5th, right on Brownlea Dr and back to the commons. His 6.5 mile run turned into 7+.

Ruckers: Around the new Greene St Bridge to the Reade Circle. Then to the historic Greene St bridge to the Summit hills. Back down the 3rd St to the river. The Ruckers were 2-min late, the Runners were about 8 min late.

BOM: Prayers for pax traveling to GrowRuck. Prayers for Tom Amen who has COVID, Floaters mom, Cold Cut’s brother, Bob in Florida. Brass Monkey’s friend who is splitting from his bride.

Naked Man Moleskin: Monty Python is a Mel Gibson looking dude now that he moved to CLT. He’s still an awesome man. A man you just learn to trust quickly. Here’s the catch – he’s a car salesman. Now that says something. ;) Celebrating 1-year in F3 is a special thing. It acknowledges a connection, a beginning, a brotherhood. Here’s Monty’s thoughts:

F3 has been the accountability that I have enjoyed and needed. What has been important is fellowship. Being able to let your guard down and know that you’re not the only person that goes through tough situations. Knowing that there’s a brotherhood that will go to the ends with you. F3 has helped me grow internally too. Be a stronger and better husband, father, and brother. I look forward to the next 5 years!
