Scotty Moe and I did a swap on a Q at each other’s AO and today was my day in Farmville. I had headlocked my long time employee/producer Wes Hines on the radio a few weeks ago to post but he no showed me (said he overslept but is going to make his debut Wednesday at BLP, stay tuned).  Anyway the theme was around WGHB & 15 today.  WGHB are the call letters for Pirate Radio 1250 and 15 is number of years we haver been in business.  Although are headquarters and studio are in Downtown Greenville, our transmitter site & towers are in Farmville which I had on the weinke to make a visit.  Scotty Moe & Seal showed up after a 2 mile ruck and Bartman cruised in at 529am and off we go.

Warm up:  15 SSH; 15 high knees; 15 butt kickers and then Cousin It showed up a few minutes late making us a group of 5, so 5 burpees each for Cousin It’s tardiness

The Thang:  Indian Run down Main Street towards the transmitter site at the edge of town (Scotty Moe thought we were headed to Fountain to look for Wes).  Arrived at the radio site (approximately a mile plus run) and did five rounds of WGHB. (W) 15 WWI; (G) 15 Gorilla Hummers; (H) 15 Hillbillies (in honor of no show Wes) & (B) 15 seconds of balls to the wall.

Next up was an Indian Run back to fountain at The Doughnut Shop with a stop at Duke Street on the way back for an impromptu 15 Bobby Hurley’s (one car drove by and did a double take of 5 dudes shooting air and slapping the road)

Back at the Doughnut Shop it was time for Bear Crawl and Burpees.  Bear Crawl to the third tree, do 15 burpees and run backwards to first tree.  Rinse & repeat doing 10 burpees the next time and then 5 burpees.  Next up was more bear crawls and the 15-10-5 exercise was WWII.  Next was three rounds of suicide runs and finished up with 5 minutes of Mary (one minute from each PAX).

Prayer Request:  Sasquatch participants; Farmville Youth (Seal)

Announcements:  PAX lunch @ Shogun Tuesday; Sasquatch gatorade donations (contact Grammar); Pre Sasquatch Social At Uptown Brewing Co Friday

Moleskin:  Enjoyed starting my week off in Farmville and sharing some radio history with the PAX today. Farmville is a great AO.  Only a 15 minute drive from Greenville.  Take a visit or step up and Q.  Thanks to Scotty Moe for the invite.  See you in the gloom soon
