Monday afternoon fellow brother Bambi reached out because his work schedule was not going to allow him to make his scheduled Q for today so I offered up some assistance and decided to Q in his place.  We began by welcoming a new FNG “Mike” to the circle and began with the disclaimer and some instructions for the FNG.  Since he was a former Marine he understood a lot of how things worked.

Warm up – IC – SSH, Good Mornings, Merkins

We then moseyed over to the adjacent parking lot to Festival Park where YHC had set up the Enron Field of Dreams.  We split apart into groups of 4 and with me being the odd man out I jumped in with another group to make 5.  There were 4 stations spaced out in the shape of a ball field, and once the group completed their exercises at home plate they would rotate to relieve their group partner.  All other PAX were AMRAP until they were relieved.  Home plate – 15 burpees, 1st base – Peter Parkers, 2nd base – kneeling hallelujahs, 3rd base – LBCs.  This was rinse and repeated with Smurf Jacks being added in place of burpees at home.  After completion we made our way down the street to the wooden boardwalk and to the benches out over the water were the PAX split in half to perform dips and planks.  After 50 dips the PAX rotated then upon completion of that we made another mosey over to the start of the brick boardwalk where you YHC had laid our cones at 10, 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards for a Red Barchetta workout.  The PAX started by running to the 100 yard cone and performed 100 plank jacks.  Once done they had to run back to the start and plank for the 6, this was done after the completion of each exercise.  Next, run to the 75 yard cone and perform 75 shoulder taps and back to the start.  Next, to the 50 yard cone and performed 50 sumo squats and then back to the start.  Then to the 25 yard cone, 25 merkins, and finally to the 10 yard cone for the final exercise.  In honor of our oldest member, Wolverine, 10 Wolverine burpees which are start of a burpee into the merkin then one Parker Peter followed by another merkin before jumping back up to the start.  This received lots of lovely comments from the PAX.  To finish things off we went to the Ledge of Gaylord and performed a static hang while each PAX performed 4 pull ups.

To finish things off we had barely enough time for 25 box cutters and 50 LBCs to finish off the workout.  We finished off the COT with naming our newest member “Cooter”.

Lots of prayers for Leprechaun as he is going through a rough patch in his life. So my fellow F3 brothers please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as we wish him nothing but the best.
