YHC had the awesome opportunity to Q the rush today!  A great group of clowns showed up and I’ll never be able to understand the glue that keeps this F3 thing together, but I’m sniffin’ it!

The Thang.

Leave J H Rose and head to the ED at Vidant.  It wasn’t an Emergency, but we were able to cruise the sidewalk of Arlington and make it a straight shot.  Some made it all the way and a few slower respect guys made it to Stantonsburg (YHC).  The PAX did a great job coming back for the six and then turning and burning out of sight again.  We all made it back with a few minutes to spare.

While running Tortoise asked for confirmation about running to Heart drive, and Strokes quickly said this run is a tribute to Splinter.  Splinter and I were at Kiwanis one Monday and I told him I was going to go to RunStrong and walk (while in the boot) and he looked at me and nodded and said he would meet me there.  It was a great way to keep in touch with everyone and build a better relationship with Splinter.  We managed to do this a couple of weeks before his heart attack and it shocked me to receive a text from his wife letting me know he would not be able to meet me on a Thursday morning. After he was released and made it back home he sent me a text…”Craig, I am so grateful for the morning walks we had before my detour.  Though my top half got split like a trout, my legs are strong, which has helped me to keep moving.  I was released today and it sure feels good to sit on the porch and soak up the sun.  I hope your ankle feels better.  Please know that your pain did serve a purpose.”

Again, this F3 thing amazes me!
