YHC has begun to train for GrowRuck, so my running legs are a little out of practice, but Arkansas had already asked YHC to Q…so it was time to jump back into running.

YHC called “Follow me” and we took off.  The disclaimer was given as we headed east on Sylvania. We took a left onto Ange and then a right on Main. I informed the PAX that we were going somewhere we’d never run to before. Tonka replied with “every time I hear that I know the route is going to suck”. Back for the six at the stop sign, followed by a right onto Old Tar. We looped around the SpeedWay before turning east onto Worthington. We ran around Christ Covenant School. It was here that Skipper gave us all a lesson in local sports marketing. We headed back on Worthington before turning south on Old Tar. A right onto Laurie Ellis was next. Some PAX hadn’t reviewed the route in advance, so the turned on Ange and headed back to the flag. Those of us in the back of the pack continued down to church street before returning to the flag.

Today was a great day to run the streets of Winterville. It was great to have Skipper and Hometown join us. Even if you don’t consider yourself a runner, give the Sandlot a try. Arkansas has a great AO going here.
