Ding-a-ling F3 Brothers and Bearcrawl and Burpees Circus

YHC saw the appeal by Ma Bell for a Q and couldn’t resist the offer.  It had been a while since my last posting there, and I love the site.  Not sure why, but the idea of a circus came to mind.  Doesn’t take much to get my creativity going, and every beatdown needs a theme, right?  Came up with some ideas and assembled some directional aids.  Got to the site early for some set up, but an F3 stickered vehicle was already there!  Turns out Patch and Stabler were already doing EC ruck time as a warm up.  More PAX pulled up as the time approached.  No ticket required for this circus.  The RingLeader was ready for the Greatest Show in the Gloom…… the Three Ring Circus commenced.

Disclaimer:  No FNG’s, but YHC reminded the PAX of the basic precautions.  Noted a high number of RESPECT PAX in the crowd.  Old men love the circus.

Warm Up (Circus Parade):  SSH, IC X 15; Good Mornings, IC X 10; High Knees, IC X Bunches, Mosey to the track

The Thang (Step Right Up):

• Ring 1:
• Track BLIMPS (station circuit around the track), three stations on each long side.  Burpees X 5, Lunges X 10, Imperial Walkers X 15, Merkins X 20, Plank Jacks X 25, Squats X 30, Return to Start Point.  Run between stations. Al Gore for the Six.
• Ring 2:
• Two laps around the track, fastest speed on long stretches, recovery speed on curved ends of the oval, join the six when complete and bring to finish line
• Rinse and Repeat BLIMPS, as described above.  Ten Count.  Mosey to tree line near front parking lot.
• Circus Midway/Animal Act:
• Bear Crawl stopping at every second tree in the line up of 21 trees to do Carolina dry docks or squats (PAX choice) ladder of increasing reps at each stop.  #mumblechatter erupted.  Ten Count, Mosey to school entrance area benches.
• Ring 3 (Lion Tamer – Cougar Painted on Sidewalk):
• Eleven’s, Dips or Step Ups on Bench Seats (PAX Choice) and WWII’s with feet braced in nearby bike rack. Assemble in parking lot.
• Ride Home:  Indian Run from parking lot, right on 14th, met up with King Pen, continued around block, re-entered school bus parking lot then circled school.  Jailbreak last 30 yards to #shovelflag.
• Cotton Candy:  YHC led a minute of Mary, XY’s IC.
