With all of the noise from the hurricane, I didn’t have time to plan the workout like I normally do.  Last night I sat down and looked at Google maps to look at the AO to get some ideas.  I looked as some Backblasts as well.  I was tired and not really in the planning mood.  I saw one BB that inspired me.  Noonan Q’d at the Schoolyard and later admitted the was winging it.  So looking at the map, I decided I had a route but other than that, we would see what came to mind.

This is how it went down….

5:15 YHC called for the circle.  14 pax ready for the beatdown.  The in a load and proud manner, two of Bob The Builders’ FNGs roll up.  YHC waited for them to join the circle and welcome them.  Announced the disclaimer and jumped into:

SSH, Good mornings, Don Quixotes, Butt Kickers and 1 burpee (just because).

We moseyed over to the waterfront where YHC had Flo explain and demonstrate  DIM (Derkin, Irkins Merkins).  Pax were to make their way down the boardwalk doing 3 reps of one exercise at each pole.

At the end of the boardwalk, Pax moved to brick wall to do some step-ups (50)

Slow movement to Main Street – this is to catch your breath as there are no 10 counts.

At Main Street, YHC called out for Zombie walk with Route 66.   Lunge to each parking spot line. At each line do a Squat, adding a squat to each up to the last line of 11 squat. In total 66 squats.  This is way DIM was singular as we save the “S” for later.

We then moseyed to the alley were we did Balls to the Wall in an Indian run fashion.  Pax hold position while pax at end run to the other end. Each Pax ran 2x.

We then moseyed to the courthouse.  We bear crawled up the steps and crab walked down.  The Pax asked we needed to do anything while waiting for the 6. YHC said no.  They decided to do Hallelujahs…YHC didn’t and was the only one not doing them.  Once 6 was in, YHC said all PAX that did Hallelujahs needed to do 2 burpees (just because)… and YHC would join in since I was only one not doing Hallelujahs.  Fact is, we were all going to do the burpees anyways.

At this point YHC asked for the time (guess I need to replace that Garmin that broke). 12 mins remaining.

We Moseyed back to the flag, did LBCs and Peter Parkers to close out the workout.

PS- following the workout, several PAX decided to get a 1 mile run in along the board walk.
