There were only three of us today, but it was a strong three, and all commenced in some leakage on this un-seasonal October weather (at least if you’re from the North, like YHC).

Warm up:

  • Side Straddle Hops x 20
  • Good Mornings x 10
  • Good Evenings x 10
  • Collard Pickers x 10

The Thang:

Started with lap around the church, followed by a second lap that included a stop at each break for the following exercises (including lunges or bear crawls on the short side of the Church):

  • 10 hand release burpees
  • 20 merkins
  • 20 squats
  • 10 hand release burpees
  • 20 merkins

Wen to the middle entrance, where we did a refreshing dose of 11s with BTTW with Shoulder Taps on one end, and Squat Jumps on the other.

No tapping out for this crew as we moseyed to the baseball diamond, where we finished together with some DORA

  • 100 merkins- every 25 merkins, ran to the outfield and back
  • 150 crunches – every 50 crunches, ran to the outfield and back
  • 200 squats- every 50 squats, ran to the outfield and back.  Ran short on time, so skipped last run to blast out the remaining squats

Moleskin:

Although having larger groups is great for support and a killer workout, I fully appreciate the smaller groups like today, and being able to hand build on the second F with fellow Pax.  I do see why having additional AOs are important, to avoid getting lost in the larger groups, and building off of eachother #ironsharpensiron.
