Coupon passed from front to back with 6 bringing coupon to front. We were on schedule to arrive at base a couple of minutes early but our FNG proved why it is so very important to give a Disclaimer at the beginning of every workout. While returning the coupon to the front of the line in F3 fashion our FNG decided to take a dive on the asphalt trail. After ripping skin from both legs he was able to recover and joined PAX for name-a-rama. Nickname suggestions ranged from road rash to road burn but PAX settled on “Upside Down” because of a Bible verse referenced by Bono and Crack Corn and because of how Upside Down looked after he finished his slide. Welcome, Upside Down!

Lunch at the Ale House TODAY
Today marked the inaugural Ruck Ready AO at Alice Keene Park. The AO was conceived during a conversation with Sarge and YHC as we talked about our struggles with fitness, weight, and overall self-discipline. Both of us were able to speak of times when fitness was something that we had achieved but we spoke openly about our struggles that we currently faced. What it boiled down to was that we lacked accountability in our day to day decisions in regards to our diet and level of activity. YHC promised Sarge on that day that YHC would be there to encourage him and to hold him accountable. We also discussed a ruck workout that would include a weight loss aspect to help those that could use some encouragement and accountability in their efforts to meet their weight loss goals. We agreed on a time and place for the first workout and YHC called Bono with the idea. With Bono’s encouragement the wheels were put in motion to create a new ruck AO. Thank you Bono and Tonka! Thank you to all who took time to post when Ruck Ready was a mere idea with no name. Special thanks to Butterworth and Nice Body for your early and steadfast commitment and support in helping to make Ruck Ready happen!
