15 quality men rolled into the Sanitary parking lot for the newest edition of the Tablesetter.  This week has been dedicated to the memory of Papa Smurf (F3 ENC) who was laid to rest yesterday.  With heavy hearts and prayers going out, we the Qs have the task of speaking about our interactions with him or speaking about ALS, the disease that took his life too early.  YHC had two encounters with this life changing man with the latter being at the Growruck a few months ago.  He was unable to speak but was able to have his words spoken by Bono and it moved us all to tears.  #CoopStrong, was adorned on blue wrapped bricks and was carried by the men that finished the GoRuck Tough.  5 pounds among 59 men to symbolize carrying him with us.  His words were the following, “Know that your life matters to many, so do good work, laugh everyday, and press on.”  Jang was scheduled to Q this morning but his hip dictated otherwise.  He asked that YHC to step in and I agreed to the call.  With a disclaimer given and bitching occurring due to a change in management, ahem, Lassie..SHM, we took off to the Jib for:

1s run across and back twice, 2s plank hold, flapjack

2nd round chilcut hold instead of plank.

With time leaving us and ground to cover, it was time to introduce a different means of getting back downtown.

1s jailbreak 2 blocks while 2s performed:

Mountain Climbers as long as it took for your partner to cover that ground.

When 1s arrived they started the exercise and 2s jailbreaked to them.

2nd round same concept but the exercise was Plank Jacks

3rd round was 5 sec Low Prisoner Squat Holds

With roughly 90 seconds left we pulled into the cutting board and ole Crabby Englishman counted off a 60 sec 6inch leg hold.  Partner up and jailbreak the 2 1/2 blocks to the shovel flag and finish with your partner

Rooney on the Q for QAR, Deebo at the Dreadnought.  Hero Patriot this Saturday with Squeeler, Lassie is Qing HIN on Wednesday.  Prayers for the family of Papa Smurf’s family and remember to bring $5 to each workout so that we may collectively donate to ALS research at the end of this week.  Lassie took us out thanking God for allowing us to take what we have done ITG and carry it throughout our day to our family, friends and those we meet.

It was an unexpected honor and pleasure to lead today.  Good to see Crabby back and good to have Tinactin with us again.  Until tomorrow. SYITG
