Cool breeze to start the day and a wonderful group of men to start in the gloom with.  We had a visiting PAX from Raleigh El Chapo come join us this morning and a new FNG, Largemouth’s intern from school.

The warm up – SSH IC – 36, WW2 – 36 followed by a short mosey over to Gaylord’s ledge for 36 toe touches.

Now time to get things started.  After a short mosey to the peoples pier each man was instructed to do 36 of each letter in DIM.  Amazed how the mumble chatter ceased quickly after that one.  We made our way now over to Respass St where each man had to partner up.  Partner 1 performed squats while partner 2 bear crawled to the next light pole, then 2 would perform squats until 1 caught him.  This would repeat for 3 light poles covering about 50 yards.  At the end we took a little breather with the peoples chair and each man giving a countdown from 10 while we held.  Next, a short mosey over to the parking lot in front of my office on 2nd st where we all did a hillbilly walk covering the parking lot till we reached my office building.  Time to partner back up and partner 1 had to climb the 4 flights of stairs outside the municipal building while 2 zombie walked.  Each partner would switch positions and this was rinse and repeated 3 times.  Time was up and a short mosey back to the flags.  We had an additional 2 minutes to spare so finished off with some quick Mary and 5 burpees for good luck.

We welcomed new FNG Sand Trap to the group today who is an intern for Largemouth during this school year.  This week we have welcomed 4 new PAX to the group and it was great to see Handy and Caterpillar come back and join us.  We had a great visitor from Raleigh, El Chapo, who was a pleasure to be around.  Thanks for making the visit El Chapo come back anytime, would love to have you.

COT and prayer requests followed by the announcement that a large clown car will be leaving at 5:30 am Saturday to head up to Choanoke for their anniversary beat down.

Also didn’t mention 36 yet but the reason for the 36 beat down today is that today is my parents 36 wedding anniversary so what better way to honor them then to have a beat down for them.
