This was my first time Qing on a Saturday. The extra 15 minutes had me worried but I was ready for the challenge. Arrived at 6:45am, saw Duct Tape waiting in his car (he was worried I wouldn’t show up). Conch Fritter arrived soon after with the shovel flag. Planted flag. Other PAX assembled. 12 total. Started promptly at 7:00am.

Warm Up

  • SSH x 20
  • Imperial Walkers x 10
  • Butt Kickers x 10

The Thang

Moseyed east down Water Street to an empty lot near Moss Landing.

  • Burpees x 10 OYO

Continued run on wooden boardwalk around the Pamlico.  Stopped half way on the boardwalk for more fun. Partnered up.

  • Merkins x 100
  • Dips x 100

Completed boardwalk run to begin MJS (Merkins, Jump Lunges and Squats). Alternating exercises at each light pole on the waterfront.

  • First Light Pole, Merkins x 10
  • Second Light Pole, Jump Lunges x 10
  • Third Light Pole, Squats x 10

Rinse and repeat down the waterfront.  Once completed the PAX that finished circled back to the 6 to complete workout with him.

Continued run west down Main Street. Enron thought we were going to Dairy Palace but I had other ideas in mind. Took a left on Hwy 17 bridge over the Pamlico and continued run to an empty lot on the other side of the bridge. Everyone was instructed to find a pole along the fenceline and begin People’s Air Presses.

  • People’s Air Presses x 100

Ran back over the bridge, took a right east on Main Street to waterfront picnic tables beside the gazebo.

  • Box Jumps x 100

Indian Run east down the waterfront back to shovel flag.

Duct Tape, Gaylord and Novocaine led us in a number of ab exercises to close out the morning.

Coffeteria followed at the Coffee Caboose.  Thanks for picking up the tab Enron.

Continued prayers for Duct Tape’s father.
