Today was about building the upper body and building “Monster” arms, chest, and shoulders.  I heard there was no running at the MASH so mosey was the way to move to each station.  Even then, there was mumble chatter…..tough crowd.

The Thang
Mosey to Epps School where we visited the playground area. We divided into two groups and picked a partner.

  • With a partner, each pax did 10 pull-ups using good form, while the other group did WW1,  then switched
  • With a partner, each pax did 10 chin-ups using good form, while the other group did WW2, then switched
  • With a partner, each pax did 10 wide arm pull-ups, using good form, while the other group did LBCs

Mosey toward tennis courts.  We stopped at the Towne Bank Center entrance for Balls to the Wall for a 10 count each (Spinal Tap was cut short of his count)

Mosey toward the metal benches past the tunnel near the tennis courts.

  • 25 Dips then sprint to the fence of tennis courts and back
  • 25 Derkins, sprint to the fence of tennis courts and back
  • 25 Erkins, sprint to the fence of tennis courts and back
  • 25 Merkins, sprint to the fence of tennis courts and back

Repeated above with some modifications of the exercises.  Note:  the pax that came back the fastest, called the count for the next round

Moseyed to the bottom of the hill by the fence of the tennis courts.  We did 7s with Burpees at the bottom, bear crawl uphill, and plank jacks at the top.  Modified with lunges.

Back to the flag for a merry, flutter kicks by Spinal Tap.
