9 Bad Mother Ruckers met at 0530 at the Schoolyard to take on the 12 miles of Ruckmas. YHC thinks some were scared off of either the miles or the rain but for the most part, Mother Nature played nice. We took off towards Elm Street Park and caught the Greenway. Instead of doing PT at every single mile, the group decided to break it up in 4 mile portions so 3 stops in total (with 4 days at each stop). The first stop was somewhere in the dark on the Greenway. Short pitstop at the Commons then headed on 5th Street towards Arlington Blvd. Second stop of exercises took place in the grass in front of the old Pitt Hospital. Arlington Blvd all the way to Greenville Blvd. We actually hit 12 miles at this point (which YHC knew) but said the extra mileage was because of the Grinch. Left on Greenville Blvd and back to the Schoolyard for a total of 14 miles and the last round of exercises. Even with the stops for the exercises, PAX kept an overall pace of 15′ 46″… Strong work by all and personal mileage records set by 2-Stop, Show Boat, Joe Friday and Dude Perfect.
