Between having a hernia and focusing solely on running for a while, I have been wanting to get back into a boot camp work out for a while now.  Stern and I have been running together at times and I told him to let me know if he had a need for a Q, and this week he reached out for help today at First Aid to be a fill in.  I have to say, it was a lot of fun planning it out and even more fun doing the work out!

Guys, reach out to the Site Q’s and let them know you will take the lead on a given day.  It is great accountability and a lot of FUN!

Warm Up:

  • 10 count Hamstring stretches on each leg
  • 19 count WW2’s

The Thang:

We did an Indian Run to Gateway Dorm at the top of College Hill where we gathered for 7’s of Derkins and get ups. Plank for the 6.

Indian Run to the bottom of College Hill to the pull up bars.  There was already a group at the pull up bars, so rather than have a dance battle for the pull up bars, we used the low ones.  Our goal was 11’s doing fatboy pull ups at one end and merkins at the other side of parking lot.  This took longer than I anticipated, so we cut it short about 3/4’s of the way through.

We moseyed to the steps of Todd Dining Hall.  The plan was to do 7’s again, but since we were running short on time.  We did 11 step ups at the bottom, then ran the stairs to the top and did 11 dips.  Rinse and repeat and plank for the 6.

Mosey back to the flag
