The Clown Car! What’s that? According to the Nation’s Lexicon, “Three or more PAX riding together to a Workout, typically outside of their usual AO. Often done in a Yaris for comic relief.” YHC has had this in mind to write for awhile, so it’s a little overdue. We are at the 3 mark (MAX) for anything so far this year. We’ve had some awesome opportunities, but PAX don’t get engage outside their usual AO. Why? Because we are creatures of habit. Sure we want to grow locally, but true growth takes place in the Clown Car by going to other AO’s! It’s not just this year that this has been an issue, but it’s been something that we can improve on!
About 6 years ago to the date, T-Bone, Bono and YHC headed up in our First Clown Car to Raleigh. I hadn’t really known these guys much at all, but learned quite a bit about them, Raleigh, and self during this trip. There were challenging questions, of course from the Educator Bono, but found out we all got quite a bit in common. Gazelle calls YHC, the most “down PAX!” YHC will do/go anywhere he can to be with his brothers! This includes numerous CSAUP’s, Expansion Opportunities or other Regional visits. YHC can get what we got here weekly and wants a challenge of going somewhere else and being with other guys to help grow! You should want to do the same! We’ve been fortunate to draw in some PAX from other Regions, but it’s not been reciprocated.

Wilmington – Passing of the Torch (3 PAX)
Farmville – Anniversary (2 PAX)
Marco – Convergence (2 PAX)
Chowanoke – Convergence (1 PAX)
This weekend will be another opportunity and it’s important that we show up! Yes, there will be other possible opportunities and CSAUP’s, but don’t delay!
