Got a text from Past Due while he was on some R&R in Asheville. He said, I couldn’t find Steve in my contacts but found Floater. Thanks for asking me to lead. The PAX were unusually quiet this morning, not sure why but when Wimpie showed up that changed. Knowing this was going to be the last run before the Blue Ridge Relay for some of us I wanted to keep it simple and fairly easy.
The Thang
Right on Elm, left on 10th turn around at Memorial Dr. About 4.5 miles crossing the nipple twice.
Everything was good until Wimpie started walking. That meant one thing a pit stop at Sheets, for well you know.
Countaroma fine but new namearoma went south from the start. Spalding must write Gov’t name age and F3 name on the chalk board 100 times.
