YHC had been on the injured reserve list for over a week with an ailing hip, but was determined to post, so I headed to Wednesday afternoon’s Stadium Blast.  I hadn’t been to that location is months, but had the flex in the schedule today and thought I’d ease myself back into action.  Showed up at the location with a few minutes to spare.  No shovel flag, no other PAX.  The hour arrived and I realized it might be just me, and I’d have to Q myself.  No problem, there was no turning back now, so I decided there were three of us, Me, Myself, and I.  So we got down to it.

Warm-up

SSH X 25 IC; Don Quixotes X 25 IC; Mini-Step Ups on Curb X 25 (right leg lead, rinse and repeat, left leg lead)

The Thang

Merkins X 20; WWII SU’s X 20, then close hand Merkins X 15; Flutter Kicks X 15; then wide arm Merkins X 10; WWI SU’s X 10, then Merkins X 5; Flutter Kicks X 5

Run from stadium to 14th St to Elm to Greenville Blvd to Charles to Baseball Stadium.  Enter Stadium, run 7 sets of stadium stairways/aisles bottom to top, continue run back out to Charles Blvd to 14th to finish at the east side of stadium start point.

ten count to catch breath, waited for the six, oh wait, I was the six.  Dropped and did some Mary (flutter kicks and American hammer sets) #mumblechatter from Myself and I, Me told the other two to suck it up.

BoMe

Prayed for wisdom in leading family and prayed for other F3 men dealing with medical issues or with friends or family fighting cancer

Gave thanks for sunshine and a clearing of the weather

YHC figured out too late that Stadium Blast may have come off the F3 schedule due to lack of regular PAX postings and with Cousin IT’s change of work schedule.  It was still a good time/opportunity to have a workout and clear my mind.
