We pulled into a pretty dark, starry sky at our new AO, #Terminal Run, ready to take off! we started with some mumble chatter which consisted of congratulating Truth Hurts for Bethel’s state championship win! 5:30 hit and I explained the route.
The Thang:
We took off on Rouse road, took a left on Felix Harvey Parkway, took a left on Spirit way, ran to the end of the road and took a left on John Mewbore Rd, then, most of us :) (Short Stop and Duff made their way back out to Felix Harvey for an additional mile), turned left on Rouse road to complete our loop. This run consisted of an even 4 miles.
We all pushed through and finished at the flag right at 6:15.
COT:
prayed for Chestnut’s parents, Brandon Holton’s family, Chew, LD, safe travels, and our community preachers; and ended with a picture by the flag.
Moleskin:
There is no truer HIM than those that turn around and pick up the six. The sacrifice made by that individual shows they are not thinking of themselves; they are truly making sure everyone gets 1% better each and every workout. Luckily, F3Kinston has a group full of them. This group of leaders has shown YHC exactly what it takes to master EVERY task a man needs to do to be successful in life. I know we all say it, but there are not many things better than the brotherhood shared by our fellow F3 HIMs. I love each of you for it!
