YHC made it out to our expansion AO #terminal run this morning realizing the roads were pretty wet from the rain we had last night.  5 other HIMs joined me at the terminal ready to hear our path for today.  Our pre-workout mumble chatter consisted of questioning Gopher on their practice run of the “12 days of Christmas CSUP” and communicated our fears and “experiences” with the run poops lol.  Once 5:30 hit I explained the route, gave the disclaimer and we took off without any delays.

The Thang

We started by going left on Rouse road all the way to Spirit Way and took a left.  As we ran you could consistently hear the sound of splashing puddles and wet shoes.  We followed Spirit Way until it ended and took a left of John Mewborne Rd.  We rounded the and took our first right back onto Rouse Rd.  Around the 2 mile mark we passed our shovel flag and waved at our vehicles, knowing that we all took our daily Red Pill, we kept trucking to get additional miles in.  We took Rouse road until we got to the railroad tracks and became our 3 mile mark.  Once there, we turned around and completed our flight path back at the terminal giving us an even 4 miles.

COT

COVID has really hit home with some of our PAX (Chestnut’s and Shortstop’s parents) and we are continuously praying for recovery for all of them.  We prayed for others that we know suffering from COVID.  Prayed/Praised for Gopher’s in-laws moving to Kinston.  There was an unspoken family (later found out it is the Rouse family) that lost a father/husband unexpectedly last night; we prayed for comfort for them.  Took PIC by the flag and wished everyone a great day.
