Crazy weekend with many participating in the Grow Ruck event and the Live Well Free 5k. Can’t wait to hear some of the stories and see some more pictures from the event. Great to see Papa Smurf out there and all the bricks. YHC put out the invitation for #thecommons and reminded everybody to check their clocks. Figured there would still be takers even with the time change. Gazelle was glad to hear EC was postponed due to hour loss.
The thing: YHC met Gazelle at the top of commons and waited for 3-4 minutes for additional PAX. With the PAX either currently crawling through sand and carrying heavy stuff or PAX enjoying the fartsack we decided to head out.
We ran….until 7…just to make sure no PAX would show up an hour late. No burpees or lunges just 7.4 miles of wind flying between our thighs. 2 PAX…Mic drop.
Good time to talk with Gazelle, we were able to talk about the 5k, pros and cons / and dreams for the event in the future. It was great to have the F3 and Fia presence there! We represented to, with many having PR, Gazelle and JAG both getting sub 20’s/medals and also half pint also receiving a medal for his age group! It was a great time and couldn’t have done it without the support of my F3 brothers.
Now to train for the Sasquatch and BRR!
