YHC’s name and date matched up on the Q schedule, The Landing Strip it was. A place known all to well from the many nights spent on the fields with my girls. It’s not too often I get to see the Front Row of the Bleachers, so I introduced them to everyone.

Warm Up:

Good Mornings – 20

SSH – 20

Frog Jacks – 50

LBC’s – 50

Mosey:

We took a short mosey from the circle around field 2 and stopped at the 3rd base dugout.

Thang 1:

There are 6 baseball/softball fields. Each containing 2 sets of bleachers.

D.I.M.B.S would be source of the first beatdown.

(Dips, Irkins, Merkins, Burpees, Squats)

I was told that I spelled “D.I.M.S” wrong, but what does one extra letter hurt??

The PAX was to excute one letter in order for 10 reps, at each of the 12 sets of bleachers. At each individual field, the PAX also would Bear Crawl from one set of bleachers to the other. A well needed break came by way of a mosey in between each field. The days are warming up and the humidity is steadily rising. This was apparent by the sweat trails left on the cement while Bear Crawling between bleachers. In the gloom, some were wondering if it was blood. Due to the close proximity of the PAX’s chins to the cement from the Merkins and Burpees, it was highly possible.

In total, from field 1 to field 6 and back, the PAX interacted with 24 sets of bleachers.

The results were:

Dips – 50

Irkins – 50

Merkins – 50

Burpees – 50

Squats – 40

With the 6 in we took a short mosey to in front of the concession stand. Called for a 20 count break, and geared up for…………

Thang 2;

Frog Jacks – 100

American Hammers – 200

Arm Circles – 300

Time was winding down, while partner one started the exercises partner two took a 100 yard mosey. Partners switched upon return from the mosey until they were done.

Once finished we held plank for the 6. Alternating from plank, left arm up, and right arm up.

With the 6 in, we took a mosey back to the shovel flag for Mary.
