Huge thanks to Goose for extending my F3 invitation back in August.  Nothing short of well needed.  40 degree temps this morning called for some Superman Sun Gods to wake up the PAX early on.  Hit the wet grass and extended nipples. Spared the men of Johnny Roscoes (look it up).  Welcomed FNG Swiper.

The Warm-up

  • Circle Burp x 15 on Down
  • Superman Sun Gods x 12 IC

The Thang

We moseyed around the complex for a warmup jog in the dark.  A potholed gravel drive in the dark after a good rain yesterday yielded a loud “Oooooooo” as somebody went ankle deep and soaked the surrounding PAX.  Circled back to the playground and in honor of our Mexican labor force (Bob the Builder themed), did some Mexican Jumping beans.  A little modification due to a great post this AM and not enough room on the monkey bars, caused us to partner up and complete 100 squats (25 x 4) while the partner did pull-ups and then rotated.  Left there with tight pecs and numb arms to begin the Caterpillar.  PAX held chilcutts while the six did box jumps back to the front in Indian Run fashion.  Maybe 100 yards was too much on paper, so after about 75, Ceaser yelled ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and all PAX went AYG over to the soccer field for fear of being deported.

PAX were introduced to their new pet rock cinder blocks and the Block-A-Dock began X 50.  For sake of time, and their Q splashing merlot, the good men were spared Blockees and Colt 45’s. Next came the Bears and Blocks.  Down to the green trash can and back was the command.  Conch Fritter pointed out that we conveniently passed the first green trash can and in F3 fashion, pushed on to the next.  Needed to get back to the Circle of Trust so we Cusaked over to the loop drive and lined up the pet rocks for a final race.  Gaylord got extra credit for running his all the way to the shovel flag and back.  Smells of burnt asphalt and sparks could be seen as the PAX did Cinder Block Rock Slide Sliders back to the shovel flag.  Some blocks went from 8 x 8 x 16 to 7 x 8 x 16!  Double D suffered an injury to his Popeye forearms somewhere between the Block-A-Dock and the slider race.  Blood, sweat, and more sweat, well done.

Circle of Trust

Continued prayers for Conch Fritter’s mom who had successful surgery.  All signs are cancer free!  Prayers for Aaron Jones as he moves back home and becomes a leader again.  Thanks gentlemen for the support and encouragement for my VQ.  15 strong this AM.  T-claps to you all.

Announcements

Largemouth and Kickball organizing a Ruck tomorrow morning at 5:00 at the waterfront.

Moleskin

Beautiful fall morning with a slight chill.  YHC showed up with 14 pet rocks this AM because a dozen have been enough for most weekday workouts.  15 PAX showed up…  We’ll take that problem anyday.  The momentum is strong fellas and we’re all becoming better men each day.
