Last week, I was head locking Die Hard for the Sasquatch and he committed to running, and put me on the schedule to Q this week.  I like your style Die Hard, but still haven’t seen you on the sign-up sheet?  Pax of 11 this morning, with 2 FNG’s and glad to meet Chimichanga today.

The Thang:

10 Squats rinse and repeat x5

10 Merkin variations rinse and repeat x5 (Regular, Sphinx, Wide-Arm, Diamond, 4-count Merkins)

Lap around the pond.

My directions were to come back for the 6 when you finished, but a majority missed those directions, so we had to had a 5 burpee penalty.

Mosey back to flag for directions for out burpee baseball game:

Teams were split into two teams, team one would hit first and would hold peoples chair while waiting to hit.  Team two would hold plank while playing the field and hop up to field the ball.  The object of the game was to get the other team out because any runs they scored would mean burpees.  The second object of the game was to sneak sprinting into the workout, without calling wind sprints.  We all had a blast playing and luckily, my team had the less amount of burpees to do!

Back at flag for the remaining three minutes to finish up our Mary exercises to get the rock hard abs for our girl.

Prayer Requests:

My 2.0 and impending eye surgery.

Fruity Pebbles and his MIL and throat surgery recovery to remove a tumor.

Announcements:

Sasquatch!  Water and Gatorade donations are being taken.  At last count we are over 20, so keep them rolling in!

Bible Study tonight at Hot Pursuits house.

Moleskin:

When planning this workout, I wanted to do something different, while also keeping the PAX engaged.  Playing wiffle ball baseball and exercising while doing it was fun and felt like a kid again.  When surveying the PAX it was important to try something new, typically I like to run and do burpees, but I wanted to make sure to keep the entire PAX together.  Glad to have two new guys with us, and they seemed to really enjoy the workout.
