YHC arrived around 6:30 to find Double D already there getting in some EC as usual. A total of 16 Pax showed up for St Paddys Day! YHC circled up the crew promptly at 7. Disclaimer was given.
Warm-Up:
– Good Mornings
– Butt kickers
– Don Quixote’s
– High knees
The Thang
YHC gave a “follow me” and moseyed to the parking lot next to Moss Landing condos. Held Plank for the 6.
16 pax makes for a long line on the curb for Mike Tyson’s!
– 5 Mike Tyson’s – bear crawl to other curb
– 4 Mike Tyson’s
– Repeat down to 1
We moseyed along the boardwalk stopping for one quick no armed burpee then stopping at the first flag pole (aka light pole). Double D led some punishment burpees in Novocaine’s honor.
Once the 6 was in, the Pax ran light poles stopping at each one to do 2 squats all the way to the flag poles. Rinse and repeat back.
After a few more Double D burpees, we circled up to number off into 4 teams.
Four Leaf Clover
Each team started at a different station:
Station 1- 100 team Squats
Station 2- 100 team Merkins
Station 3- 100 team Imperial Walkers each leg
Station 4- 100 team burpees
The teams could only use bear crawls, crab walks, or lunges to travel between each station. 1 point was awarded each time a team made it back to their starting station. After about 10 minutes, YHC called time. The teams did a great job of helping each other. The points were hard to keep track of… so points were thrown out and everyone was a winner. It had nothing to do with YHC’s group falling behind.
The Pax circled up for 6MOM.
– Flutter Kicks
– Chill Cut
– Box Cutters
– Crab Cakes
COT
– Count o rama – 16
– Announcements – Bible study Monday @ 5am, tires available for future workouts courtesy of Big Show
– Prayer Requests – Novocaine’s co-workers and their families, help bring our youth to know Christ despite all the negativity.
Moleskin:
Great workout! Definitely glad to see new faces. The original workout plan included a stroll to Havens Garden, which as I write this I remember I left some cones there. Following the F3 way, plans were modified to make sure we kept a unified Pax. YHC is honored to get the chance to lead such a great group.
