Hiny had the brilliant idea of headlocking YHC to Q #BlastOff at a HDHH a few weeks ago. With stiff Q competition from OGs like String Bean, Abu, and Cousin IT today, I wondered how many PAX I might draw to BLP. The answer shows that I am not the most popular kid in school. Four brave souls showed up for the following workout:

The Thang

Warm Up: Good Mornings x 10, SSH x 15, Mahktar N’Diaye x 20

Burpee half mile: run around the track doing 10 burpees at each intersection.

Partner Descending Testicles: partner 1 holds BTTW at the backstop while partner 2 runs to the foul pole and back. Switch. Next time, semi-BTTW. Last time, simple plank.

Partner Merkins 1: Partners run opposite directions from centerfield to the foul pole and back, meeting in the middle for 10 partner merkins. Repeat x4

Partner Merkins 2:  Partners run opposite directions down one of the spokes of the track and meet in the middle for 10 patty-cake merkins. Repeat x 4.

Finish with hand-release merkin/Chilcutt 11s, 25 Captain Thors, and 25 LBCs

Prayer Requests: various injured PAX – there seem to be a lot of them right now.

Moleskin

Good upper body workout today with a good dose of cardio. Notwithstanding my disappointment at not drawing larger numbers, I enjoyed our small PAX today. I planned on doing partner work, and having three sets with four PAX meant that everyone got to work together. Mumblechatter was solid, as it always is with Patch around, although I noticed that in a small PAX, mumblechatter makes it very hard to keep count. The guys were kind enough to share counting duties on the 11s at the end, which is always a challenge.

We missed Hiny (and his shovel flag) this morning, but we did find a tiny orange flag for use in the photo.
