Who said No Burpees?

Stern asked me to Q and it didn’t take long to say yes. However, my posting consistency has been lacking lately, so being Q was just what the doctor ordered!  Came up with some Mayhem Tuesday night, and was up and ready for Wednesday Buildup!  Arrived at BLP at 5:20, planted the shovel flag, and we had 12 men show up for some Wednesday Mayhem!

The Thang

Indian Run around BLP to get the legs warm

BLIMP Run – Run a quick lap around BLP doing the BLIMP exercises.

• B – Burpees x 5  (YHC was rumored to have said no burpees……..if so I lied)
• L – Lunges  x 10
• I – Imperial Walkers x 15
• M – Merkins x 20
• P – Plank Jacks x 25

YHC had the group pair up with someone you finished about the same time as; rinse and repeat BLIMP run competing against each other; loser has 5 Burpees.  Found out a lot about the character of our PAX, as every pairing finished in a TIE.  2 Burpees each man.

Mosey to the picnic table. There YHC instructed the group we would do three exercises:

• Irkiins x 10
• Captain Thors  x 10
• Super Step Ups  x 10

Then run to the softball fence and back; rinse and repeat AMRAP for final 15 minutes.

Mosey back to the shovel flag at 6:15am.

Straight Blade has his VQ on FRIDAY at BLP.

Dr. Randy Parker’s Golf Tournament, Dinner and Auction is next Friday April 27th at Ironwood CC.
