Nice brisk morning which personally, YHC has been waiting for! YHC met up at 0440 for an EC Ruck with Patch, Chimi, Ratched, Tip and Tap. Got back to the flag and were joined by 10 more PAX for a total of 16. Circled up at 0530 for a quick disclaimer and a quick warmup;

YHC Instructed the PAX to grab some weight to take with them on the journey. Some PAX grabbed their ruck sack, some grabbed plates and even Cold Cut grabbed a Shake Weight! As a group, PAX would make their journey through the Clydesdale Mile, making 4 stops along the way. At each stop, PAX would perform 4 exercises and a surprise by YHC. Each exercise would be led by a PAX member and the total reps would increase by 5 at each stop. PAX began their mosey to the bus stop at Lower Minges parking lot.
At the first stop, YHC had the PAX circle up and instructed them to hold their weight overhead while each member would take turns bear crawling the inner circle back to their spot. Once they got back, the next PAX would bear crawl. After the circle, jumped right into the exercises;
(15) Overhead press- led by Kool-Aid
(20) Curls for the Girls- led by Cold Cut
(25) Tricep Extensions- led by Patch
(30) Squats- led by Ratched
Mosey to the next stop, Dollar General parking lot. PAX would perform the same circle but this time instead of bear crawl the inner circle, PAX would crab walk. Same exercises but an increase of 5;
(20) Overhead press
(25) Curls for the Girls
(30) Tricep Extensions
(35) Squats
Mosey to the next stop, the top of college hill at the Gateway dorm. The circle would be performed and this round, PAX would lunge the inner circle. Exercises increased 5 more;

Moseyed to the last stop, the bus stop in the Gold lot. Circle was performed again, this time with the PAX doing half bear crawl/half crab walk in the inner circle. And again, exercises increased by 5;

I’ve been waiting to bring the Clydesdale Mile back out and this time with a little added twist. YHC felt that this version of the mile really challenged the PAX, especially that stretch between stop 2 and stop 3. It was great to see PAX push each other at each stop. No PAX was left behind and we all finished! Great work by all! Until next time…
