YHC got the opportunity to teach some Italian this morning!

Warm up:

Over Head Arm Stretches x 10

Arm Pulls Stretch x 10

Buttkickers x 10

Merkin’s x 10

The Thang:

First Phase: With warm up complete, we challenged our selves with 15 (Quindici) Burpees. However, since some challenges are difficult to over come we “Deconstructed” the Burpee. 15 x Squats, 15x Leg Thrusts, 15 x Merkins, 15 x Leg Thrusts. We counted down all the way to 1.

Took a lap around the school to give the pax some relief.

Second Phase: Partnered up and continued on the beatdown. Quindici showed up again and we began with 15 x Partner Assisted American Hammers (4 count=1), partners would switch and once completed they mosey’d to the fence line where they completed 15 x Partner Assisted Elevated Merkins. Continued the countdown until we got to number 10.

Third Phase: Quindici once again showed up. This time for 15 x reps of Shield Lock World War 2’s.

Wrap up: Two sets of Chicken Chasing! (modified) 15 x mountain climbers, 15x Overhead Arm Claps, 15x Little Circles.

The Lesson: It wasn’t the Italian word (Quindici) that was the lesson but the workouts themselves. In life we begin by doing difficult things ourselves (Deconstructed Burpees). Then we find someone, our M’s, that shares our trials (Partner Assisted American Hammers, and Elevated Merkins). There’s a point in which we need the assistance of our brothers to move forward (Shield Lock WWII’s). However difficult life becomes, the important part is to keep moving forward! (Chicken Chasers)
